| Description: | Major Objective:
Assist utility crew in maintaining mobile equipment and material handling systems in the Valero: St. Charles Refinery and see that operational cleanliness adheres to Savage standards.
Supporting Objective(s):
• Attending daily safety meetings;
• Wash down conveyor system;
• Dock maintenance;
• Conveyor maintenance;
• Assist operation in all venues as/when needed
• Provide Best Value, No Worry Service.
Interface with the Rest of the Company:
Laborers will report directly to the on shift Supervisor or Team Leader. They will also interact with Savage, Valero and other contractor employees at the refinery. They may have the opportunity to participate in the Safety Specialist program; this would possibly require travel to other locations.

| Duties: | Skills and Abilities:
• Must have the ability to learn and understand safe work practices on the river and in the refinery;
• Must show an understanding of the seriousness of the dangers involved in the area of operation;
• Must be able to physically capable of handling wash down hoses;
• Must be able to read, write and understand English;
• Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions;
• Must be willing to help with anything that requires attention as directed by the Operation Manager;
• Must have environmental awareness;
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule;
• Must be able to frequently lift 60lbs.
