Major Objective:
To understand and implement Savage’s maintenance program for all tractor trailers at the Baton Rouge Sulphur terminal

| Duties: | Supporting Objectives:
- Perform diagnostics and minor maintenance work for trucks (Macks) and trailers (tankers) used at the the Baton Rouge Sulphur terminal, and ensure accurate and thorough records are kept
- Ensure the tractor trailers are serviced according to Savage’s preventative maintenance program
- Take an active role in the site’s safety program

| Qualifications: | Skills and Abilities:
- Has an advanced understanding and experience with Mack trucks, and can diagnose mechanical problems and performing minor repairs
- Can read, write and understand written and/or verbal English instructions
- Besides maintenance, should be willing to perform any additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and on call
- Able to frequently lift 60lbs.
- Familiar with computers and an understanding of maintenance system software
- Can manage record keeping as it pertains to maintenance
- Enough personal tools to perform maintenance
- Able to work well independently
