| Description: | Savage is excited about the opportunity to serve Anadarko in the Uintah Basin. As we approach our actual start date (sometime in mid to late August) we'd like to give our potential drivers a place to submit an application. Although we don't plan on making any offers to any drivers until the beginning of August, we are happy to begin accepting applications today.
At the same time, we want all potential drivers to understand this will be a slow start-up. Our first drivers will be hired in the middle of August, but we'll slowly bring on additional drivers all the way through October. We ask that you're patient with us as we move through this process. | Duties: | Major Objective:
Safely and efficiently transport production water for Savage’s Uintah Basin Oil and Gas Services Operation from storage tanks to disposal sites in the Anadarko Oil and Gas Field.
Supporting Objectives:
- Handle the loading, unloading and delivering procedures necessary to transport production water from well sites to disposal sites
- Partner with dispatch in accurately reporting the conditions of tanks, well sites, road conditions and overall environment of the field
- Assist the operation with other tasks deemed necessary to meet customer expectations
- Report maintenance issues to the maintenance crew
- Understands our critical service requirements and see they are met
- Take an active role in our safety program including attendance to all safety meetings and ensure safe behaviors of self and subordinates
Team and People Issues:
Drivers report directly to an appointed Transportation Manager. They will also interact with other Savage and customer management and personnel on a daily basis. Hence, should have an understanding of customer service and have strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
On occasion they may be asked to assist another operation on a temporary basis. They may also have the opportunity to participate in the Safety Specialist program; this would possibly require travel to other locations.
Physical and Environmental Issues:
Drivers are routinely required to work outdoors and as a result are exposed to the elements. They must be physically able to handle large tools and equipment (60 lbs), climb on and off the equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights.

| Qualifications: | Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
- Class A CDL with experience preferred
- Experience hauling production water and oil field experience a plus
- Must be Drug Free and able to pass a criminal background test; also should have a nearly spotless MVR
- A solid and stable work history
- Understand best practices of maintaining and safely operating tractor trailers
- Safety conscious and understand safe work practices for operating in the oil and gas field and on the road
- Willingness to learn and participate in an employee based safety program and willing to contribute to Savage’s culture of Safety
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Can successfully pass Savage’s road test, which will include a proper pre and post trip inspection of the vehicles
- Must show a basic knowledge of DOT regulations as determined in interviews and be willing and able to work within the hours of service regulations
- A good attitude. Shows interest as a team player, and is observed to be safe and conscientious in the workplace
- Able to work on a rotating shift
